Muasya, Jane N., PhD.

Dr. Jane Nzisa Muasya is an Assistant Professor of Spanish. She holds a PhD in Spanish language from the University of Valladolid, Spain. She is a graduate of the University of Nairobi where she obtained a B.A. in General Linguistics and Swahili. She has taught at USIU since 2004, initially as adjunct, then as full time faculty from 2005. Her passion for the Spanish language and culture has led her to organize trips to Spain where the students have been exposed to experiential learning; she is also coordinating a linguistic-cultural exchange involving Galicia, Spain, and the East African Anglophone countries.
